Hello everyone! My name is Janet Stevenson Lewis, and I’m a proud resident of Memphis, Tennessee. This beautiful city is home to the late Elvis Presley, the Stax Museum, Sun Studio, world-famous record breaking barbecue awards and the vibrant Beale Street, which offers a philanthropy of entertainment, including shops, with awesome live music, such as Blues, Jazz, Hip Hop, Country, Theater and the list goes on, With record breaking artist from Issac Hays, Justin Timberlake, Drake , Yo-gotti and so many more, this is only to name a few, But let’s talk about me,
I was born to the late Mr. LD and Queenie Stevenson in a house hold of seven, three brothers and three sisters, each day was a new day and life was filled with joy, but as life goes on and things begin to change, you struggle to fine your place in life, my best friend was not a writer but a very smart lady who could put anything on paper, and that I really admired of her, but later as I grew older in life as I begin to think about the laughter and joy we shared together, those moment was what inspired me to write books , her name was Bonnie Rhynes, I had no ideal my life would take on this turn because I had tried so many things, but what a wonderful turn in life this turned out to be,
I am a retiree now and have more time on my hands, I am excited to follow my dreams or shall I say passion, and dedicate myself to turning my dreams into reality, writing. The creation of these books all began as a fun project, but gradually developed into a series of short stories, with real-life events that can encourage or inspire the life of a young child trying to find his or her way. Over the years, writing has become a true joy for me, transforming into a hidden passion that I am thrilled to have discovered. The funny thing is, this is nothing like my school years when I regretted reading and studying books. However, this newly found passion for writing was sparked by dreams and the love and care for my two beautiful grandkids as I watched them grow Through the ups and downs, I discovered that sharing my stories not only brought me comfort but also connected me with others who sought joy and hope. The encouragement I received from my family and friends fueled my determination to keep writing, even when self-doubt crept in. It has evolved from a mere past time into a profound passion that enriches my daily life; it has become a fulfilling journey from writing children books to Love stories and Murder mystery, I am incredibly grateful for the dreams I never imagined I would achieve, so thanks to all my wonderful readers and friends, please do enjoy.
