WHAT CUSTOMER SAY ABOUT US
After we finished reading it, my daughter hugged it to her chest and kept whispering, ‘I want a Button, too.’ It’s rare to find a story that feels this gentle, loving, and true. We’ll be rereading it tonight… and probably every night after that.
As a teacher, I’m constantly on the lookout for books that truly teach compassion in a way that resonates deeply with children. "Button" does just that it’s like a gentle hug for the heart! Whoa, my students absolutely lit up with joy when Button found his forever home! It sparked such a meaningful conversation about kindness and the incredible importance of rescuing animals. It's remarkable how a story can weave such essential lessons into its narrative.
Reading "Button" felt like watching a cherished childhood memory spring to life before our eyes. Wow, my son was completely engrossed; he laughed, asked a million questions, and even wiped away a tear at the end! This book reminded us that sometimes, the smallest creatures can leave the biggest paw prints on our hearts. It’s a stunning reminder of how love and empathy excel size and species.
During our weekly sleepover, my granddaughter and I snuggled up with this book, and it turned into a magical experience. After we finished reading, she eagerly named her stuffed puppy ‘Button.’ That’s the kind of story this is—one that lingers and invites creativity long after the last page is turned. Thank you, Janet Lewis, for crafting something so honest and warm that it bridges generations!
I've read countless children’s books, but wow, "Button" feels distinctly different—it’s soft, real, and beautifully simple. When my 5-year-old asked if we could reread it, ‘but slower this time,’ I knew it had touched her little heart in a profound way. Stories like these not only entertain but also nourish empathy and understanding in young minds. Just wow!
